Cave. Nature and culture
Cave. Nature and culture by Ralph Crane and Lisa Fletcher ventures beyond the usual realm that authors visit when writing about caves, as it investigates their natural and cultural significance and the roles that caves play in human imagination. If this sounds too philosophical, perhaps it is - but Cave remains a fascinating book that is richly illustrated and takes readers in sometimes unexpected jumps of thought. Bringing together science and art, this is an altogether worthwhile book to spend some time with.
Commended in the Tratman Award for the best cave-related publication in 2015
